He was predeceased by: his father William V. McAbee II. He is survived by: his mother Betty Turpin McAbee; his wife Lisa Smith McAbee; his son William Jacob Brewer (Alexis); his stepdaughter Amy Strickland; his stepgranddaughter Olivia Strickland; his brother Edmund "Pug" McAbee (Paula); his nieces and nephews, Lee McAbee (Jordan) and Drew McAbee (Jana); his sister Elizabeth "Libba" McAbee Vance (Kurt); his nephew Benjamin Vance; and his mother-in-law Norene Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Sullivan-King Mortuary (3205 N Hwy 81, Anderson, SC 29621). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Bridge Center Recovery in memory of the Bill McAbee Scholarship Fund, 2403 W. Whitner Street, Anderson, SC 29624.
