He is survived by: his wife Bertie Mae Mattress; his children, Willie "Frankie" Evans (Nancy) of Anderson, SC, Reedie Mae Robinson-Best of Conway, SC, Teresa Mattress of Houston, TX and Angela Mattress of Round Rock, TX; his grandchildren, Calvin Evans (Fermessia), Ashley Best-Wright (Michael), Dr. Bernard Best, Janycea Traynum and Joshua Evans; and his great grandchildren, Janilah, Jada, Jordynn, Cameron and Yara. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
