With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bobby Cox of Andrews, South Carolina, who passed away on November 1, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Shorty Cox and Patsy Cox; his grandson Joel Vause; his son-in-law Dwayne Goins; his aunt Iris; and his uncle Marion Newton.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Cooper Cox of Georgetown; his children, Stacy Goins of Socastee, Tracy Howard (Brian) of Andrews and Kevin Cooper (Claire) of Pawleys Island; his stepchildren, Brian Cooper of Georgetown, Randell Cooper (Caroline) of Georgetown and Angel Vause of Georgetown; and his siblings, Patricia Walters (Lee) of Andrews and Jack E. Cox of Andrews. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calvary Free Will Baptist Church (1663 N Fraser St, Georgetown, SC 29440). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens (1640 Pennyroyal Rd, Georgetown, SC 29440).
