Carol Elizabeth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Columbus Hill and Sarah Elizabeth Godwin Hill; her husband Gerald; her son Brian Christopher Hunter; her brothers, Fred Columbus Hill, Jr. and Johnny Hill; and her brother-in-law Doyle Poston.

She is survived by: her son Heath Hunter (Tammy); her grandchildren, Lauren Harrington (Nathan) and Christopher Hunter; her great grandchildren, Claire and Hayden; her siblings, Ann Poston, Heath Hill (Christi) and Nora Wilkes (Ricky); her sister-in-law Betty Hill; and her close friend Diane Boyd.

A graveside service was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Andrews Memorial Cemetery.
