She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome, Sr. Ramsey and Roxcena Ramsey; her husband Jake Hurell; her son Dayvon Jones; her sister Joyce Chandler; her grandson Isiah Jones; and her stepson Ronald Hurell.
She is survived by: her children, Janay Figueroa (Daniel), Rayvon Jones of Charlotte, NC, Jayvon Jones of Andrews, SC and Christopher Levine of Andrews, SC; her stepchildren, Joanna Deas (William), Austin Hurell (Delores) of Andrews, SC, Jerome Hurell of Conway, SC and Michelle Hurell of Washington, DC; her siblings, Jerome Ramsey, Jr. (Mia) and Alisha Ramsey of Andrews, SC; her uncles, Cordez, Jakarius, Azhyria, Ray'Ona, Ray'Arrie, Omarri, Kamijay, Jay'Ahni and Dha'Sir; and her close friend Robert Linen. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Grace (118 Conifer St, Andrews, SC 29510). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Brown Chapel Missionary Baptist Church (449 Browns Chapel Rd, Andrews, SC 29510).
