He is survived by: his wife Patricia G. Gibson; his sons, James Tyrone Gibson of North Carolina and Pernell Javon Gibson of Andrews, SC; and his siblings, Bosie Gibson, Jerome Gibson, Pearl Green, Carrie Nesmith, Ora Lee Coaxum, Cinderella Gibson, Ernest Gibson, Essie Davis, Queen Gibson, Betty Jean Gibson and Bobbie Jean Dorsey. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the W. J. McKnight & Son Chapel (406 W Ashland St, Andrews, SC 29510). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the W. J. McKnight and Son Chapel (406 W Ashland St, Andrews, SC 29510).
