He is survived by: his son James Gainey, Sr. (Angela) of Andrews; his grandchildren, Julie Raines (Ervin) of Andrews, James "Bubba" Gainey Jr. of Andrews, Brock Williams (Jenny) of St. Mary's, GA, Jamey Thomas (Jenn), TJ Williams (Sandi) of Brunswick, GA and Devon Thomas of Missouri; his siblings, Loretta Lee (Ted), Carl Gainey (Clara) and Doug Gainey (Connie); his sister-in-law Debbie Gainey; and his extended family, Leona Scott, Olin J Howard (Elaine), Sidney Howard (Delores), Viola Knight (Eddy), Pat Howard and Clarence Thibeault. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
