He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Lambert Benton; his daughter Summer O'neal Benton; his sister Annette Benton; his mother-in-law Elizabeth Bourne Lambert; his aunt Lucy Morris; and his grandchildren, Macy Alford and Marleigh Alford. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
