It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lavern Moore of Andrews, South Carolina, who passed away on July 7, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilary Dolar Moore and Nellie Swails Moore; his wife Linda; his daughters, Denise Moore and Michelle Flowers; his brother Arthur; and his pets, Vickie Martin, EJ Moore, Inell Goude (Arthur), Sandra Howard (John Pratt), Dorothy Jordan and Judy Moore.
He is survived by: his children, Renee Michel (Steven), Deanna Shumate (Wesley) and Ariel Flowers (Gary); his grandchildren, Victor Martin (Jessica) and Kaelin Brott; his great grandchildren, Carter Flowers, Noah Sherman, Brayden Brott, Spencer Brott, Kerigan Guererro, Megan Brown and Brentley Brown; his siblings, Patsy Locklear (Keith), Linnie Wilson (Bubba), Herbert Moore (Desi) and Bobby Moore (Diane); and his extended family, Peggy Moore, Freddie Martin and Carolyn Moore. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McKenzie Funeral Home - Andrews Chapel (610 S Rosemary Ave, Andrews, SC 29510). A celebration of life was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church (11407 Gapway Rd, Andrews, SC 29510).
