She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Ralston Cooper and Icoline Bednego Cooper; her husband Henry L. Ackerman, Sr.; her son Frankie Ackerman; and her siblings, Ezra Cooper, Elijah Cooper, Mildred Lambert, Lula Ward, Sadie Evans, Doris Gause and Belle Lee.
She is survived by: her children, Karen T. Nesbitt, Allen Thomas (Sharon), Jane Feagin (Cecil), Daniel Ackerman, Logan Ackerman (Darlene), Marie Mims, Anne Arnold, Faye Ackerman, Jimmy Ackerman (Terry) and Wayne Ackerman (Linda); and her siblings, Rev. Daniel Cooper (Sharon), David Cooper, Elisha Cooper (Lena Bell) and Clara Cooper. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Oak Ridge Cemetery (920 Earle Rd, Andrews, SC 29510).
