He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa P. Dennis (Rob Mildy) and Jane P. Tyler (David); his grandchildren, Douglas Turner, Adam Williams and Alexis Tyler; and his brother-in-law Bill Batts of Oxford, NC.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Eaddy Ford Cemetery.
