Bonny Scott McConnell Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 25, 2026, at the age of 87, Bonny Scott McConnell of Awendaw, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Bonny shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Bonny farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Blakely McConnell and Mary Isabelle Thames; and his sister Mary Jo Whitton. He is survived by: his sons, Scott McConnell, Jr. (Sara) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, James McConnell (Leah) of Awendaw, SC and Tim McConnell of Brunswick, GA; his stepchildren, Robert Schirmer and Elizabeth Hamlin-Brown; and his sister Julia Snyder (Robert) of Awendaw, SC.. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
