She was predeceased by : her grandsons, Justin Nelson and William Jenkins, Jr.; her parents, Wilson Jenkins and Sue Gooden Jenkins; and her siblings, Claudia E. Johnson, Earnest Jenkins, Melvin Jenkins and Joel Jenkins.

She is survived by : her son William "Pop" Jemlins; her niece Shavonne Johnson-Palmer; her grandchildren, Jamaal Nelson, Marquis Jenkins, Wilniyah Jenkins and Maurice Romer; her great grandchildren, Willow Jenkins, Kalli Jenkins, Kamron Nelson and Justin Nelson; and her siblings, Pearl Jenkins, Gail Jenkins, Marvin Jenkins, Raymond Jenkins and Aletha "Lisa" Jenkins.
