With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Jo McConnell Whitton in Awendaw, South Carolina, born in Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on December 26, 2023 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by : her husband Earle Howard Whitton. She is survived by : her sons, J. Daniel Fairley (Karen) of Charlotte, NC and Matthew McConnell Fairley of Awendaw, SC; her grandchildren, Harris Fairley, Jack Fairley and Smith Fairley; and her siblings, Bonny McConnell and Julia Snyder.
