It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Elliott Heyward of Awendaw, South Carolina, born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on March 18, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William Barnwell Heyward and Martha Ann Morris Heyward of Greenville, SC.. He is survived by : his wife Janet Heyward; his children, Stephen Elliott Heyward, Jr. (Mallori) and Kathryn Lynn Heyward; and his siblings, William Barnwell Heyward, Jr. (Tricia), Charles Lee Heyward (Terry) and Millie Heyward Reed (Jim). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and very close lifelong friends.
