We announce the death of Hilda Sellers (Aynor, South Carolina), who passed away on October 10, 2026, at the age of 83. Hilda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harmon Turner and Rhodia Dimery Turner; her siblings, William Turner, Jay Turner, Joy Turner, Julian Turner, Loyce Long, Lila Turner, Celia Logan, Jean Dyson and Shirley Johnson; and the father of her children Jimmy B. Sellers.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Ann Sellers and Janice Sellers Collins (Vernon); her grandchildren, Brittany King (Jimmy) and Brandon Collins (Kimberly); her great grandchildren, Cheston Vaught, Eastyn Vaught, Abigail Collins, Ella Collins, John Thomas King and Jake King; her sisters, Betty Sue Staples and Donna Lamb; and her close friends, Billie Root, Lisa Martin and Derrick Chestnut.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (290 9th Ave, Aynor, SC 29511). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at the Bethel Cemetery (1370 Ridge Rd, Galivants Ferry, SC 29544).
