We announce the death of Kennith E. Johnson of Aynor, South Carolina, who passed away on September 22, 2026, at the age of 83. Kennith will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, E. L. Johnson and Bera Jane Johnson; his son-in-law Ricky Richardson; and his siblings, Vera Bennett, Carolyn Drew and Travis Johnson.
He is survived by: his spouse Jean Rabon; his children, Donna Richardson, Denise Hardwick (Heath) and Glenn Johnson (Jessie); his grandchildren, Ashton Allard (Wade), Chadwick Johnson (Taryn), Savannah Wheatley, Hannah Hardwick, Cross Hardwick (Taylor) and Zoey-Bea Hardwick; his great grandchildren, Parker, Charlotte Allard, Clover Wheatley, Saint, Della Johnson, Chanleigh and Kason Hardwick; his brothers, David O. Johnson (Gail) and James M. Johnson (Vera); and his sister-in-law Judy C. Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Bethany Baptist Church (3160 SC-45, Loris, SC 29569). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
