She was predeceased by : her daughter Ann; her parents, Ghue B. Goodwin and Roberta Lancaster Goodwin; her husband Martin H. Black; her siblings, Claire Latham and Norman Goodwin; and her stepsiblings, Donnie Goodwin, Ronnie Goodwin and Francis Goodwin.

She is survived by : her children, Reverend Greg Black (Rosanne) of Marion and Kay Paul (Raymond) of Summerville; her grandchildren, Jonathan Black (Jessica) of Surfside Beach, Wallace Black Waugh (Steven) of Chagrin Falls, OH and Caroline Black Davidson (Matt) of Charleston, SC.; her sister June Black of Barnwell; and her stepsiblings, Emily Goodwin Collins of Barnwell and Guy B. Goodwin of Danville, VA. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
