She was predeceased by: her spouse Cecil Eugene "Gene" Kirkland; her parents, Ray Rentz and Catherine Copeland Rentz; her brother William Franklin Rentz; her sister-in-law Dee Nummy; and her mother-in-law Elma "Pingsy" Nummy.
She is survived by: her children, Gina Garrick (Dwayne) of Barnwell, SC, LeVerne Calvert and Guy Kirkland (Angie) of Bamberg, SC.; her grandchildren, Tamyn, Lauren Garrick of Charleston, SC, Cannon, Celie Jordan of Florence, SC, Robert, Hayley Calvert of Lowell, MI, Kimberly Woodard of Columbia, SC and Ryan Calvert of Grand Rapids, MI.; her great grandchildren, Emme Jordan, Cole Woodard, Paul Calvert and Lily Woodard; her sister Patricia Rentz Bottorff (Gary) of Fairfax, Virginia; her siblings-in-law, Evelyn Rentz of Ehrhardt, Lillian Kirkland Bamberg (Henry) of Bamberg, SC and Don Nummy (Debbie); her friend Stephanie Rickenbaker; Tony Christie, Diane Behling, Priscilla Washington, Karen Wright, Georgia Gilmore and Shirlene Dortch. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the McMillan Family Cemetery.
