He is survived by: his wife Betty Walling McCollum; his children, Frank O'Neal McCollum of Bamberg, Julia M. Barbieri (George Barbieri) of Bamberg and Michelle M. Kinsey (Bubba Kinsey) of Bamberg; his grandchildren, Dillion McCollum, Katie McCollum, Mason McCollum, MaKena McCollum, Cody Kinsey, Lauran Kinsey and Gracie Barbieri; his great grandchildren, Lorelei Hutson, Scout Platt, Louie Platt and Everley Kinsey; his brother David McCollum of Orangeburg; his stepdaughter Sherry Bell; his son Tracy Sons; his grandson Jeffery; and his sons, Deadra Gooding Kaiden McCollum (David Kneece), Mitchell Kneece and Rocky Kneece. He is also survived by his family, friends.
