She was predeceased by : her parents, Bernard Amrhein and Mildred Ellen Frebert Amrhein; her stepmother Edith Stuart Amrhein; her grandson Samuel Brown "Trey" Sanders, III; and also Charles Patrick Tomlinson.

She is survived by : her children, Patricia Thompson (Eddie) of Orangeburg, Philip Tomlinson, Sr. (Lori) of Bamberg, SC and Greg Tomlinson (Kendra) of Monument, CO; her grandchildren, John Thompson, Michael Thompson, John Philip Tomlinson, Jr., Tonya Hester, Beth Tomlinson (Zach) and David Tomlinson; her siblings, Delores Herget (Carl) of Baltimore, MD, Tom Amrhein (Diana) and John Amrhein (Mindy) of Timonium, MD.; and also Ben L. Butler.
