She was predeceased by : her parents, Richard Herron, Sr. and Sallie M. Herron; her husband Willard E. Gunnells, Sr.; and her siblings, Minnie Lee H. Elkins, William M. Herron, Nancy H. Walters, John H. Herron and Richard Herron, Jr..

She is survived by : her sons, Willard E. Gunnells (Rhonda) and Tony Gunnells (Joyce); her grandchildren, Russ E. Gunnells, Erin G. McMahon (Brian) and Ashlyn Gunnells; her great grandchild Bentley Gunnells; and her sister Wilma Herron-Ridge (Mike). She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Bamberg First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 355, Bamberg, S. C. 29003 or to a charity of one's choice.
