She was predeceased by: her husband James Lindsay Banfield; and her parents, Gerald Clayton and Evelyn Joyner Clayton. She is survived by: her children, April Still (Shawn) of Ehrhardt and Michael Oglesby (Samantha) of Bamberg; her stepdaughter Michelle Robinson of Ohio; her siblings, Pansy Clayton of Ehrhardt, Ben Clayton of Walterboro and Jimmy Clayton (Susan) of Ehrhardt; her grandchildren, Michaelle Grubbs (Jarrett), John Campbell (Kentlee Kneece), Austin Oglesby and Alex Oglesby; and her great grandchild Carter Grubbs.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Homes and Crematory, Ehrhardt-Bamberg Chapel (2515 Low Country Hwy, Ehrhardt, SC 29081).
