She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Jones-Butterfield and Druecilla Jones-Butterfield; and her sister Willie Lee Butterfield. She is survived by: her husband Edward Denmark; her daughter Shirley Walker of Hinesville, Georgia; her siblings, Jean E. Legree of Bamberg, Elaise Walker of Walterboro, Annette D. Clowney of Orangeburg and John H. Dowling of Orangeburg; and her caregiver Cynthia Smith. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
