He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Dale Padgett, Jr. (Emily), Kate Achanti (Anand) and Martin Padgett (Shelby); his grandchildren, Bridge Padgett, Ravi Achanti, Risher and Wilder Padgett; and his brother Jack Padgett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
