He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Elton "Pie" Smith, Jr. (Ronnie) and Olga Linda Torres Smith; and his brothers, Frank "Pee Wee" Smith, James Allen Smith and Barry Dean Smith.
He is survived by : his children, Elizabeth Dawn Smith of Williston, Tonya Irene Smith of Blackville, Teri Renee Smith of Bamberg, Ronnie Victor "Ron" Smith, Jr. of Hagerstown, MD and Steven Michael Smith of Cope; his caregiver Miranda Dyches of Bamberg; his daughter Jennifer Padgett (Eddie) of Bamberg; and his siblings, Peggy Hutto (Butch) of Blackville, Ellender Gunnells, Sr. (Henry) of Swansea, Debra Marie Smith of Bamberg, Lynn Zissett (Stanley) of Olar, Missy Melissa Raye of Bamberg, Tony Smith (Ginger) of Blackville, Mark Joyner of Williston and Lavern Joyner of Beaufort. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
