He was predeceased by: his father Willie J. Owens; and his grandparents, James Willie Way and Theresa Brant. He is survived by: his mother Latosha Brant (late Cory Badger) of Allendale, SC; his grandmother Elizabeth Ownes; his siblings, Tasadia Owens of Nashville, TN, Gabriel Joyner of Allendale, SC, Nigel Allen of Allendale, SC, Melvin Brant of Allendale, SC and Malachai Brant of Allendale, SC; his grandfather Darryl Priester of Fairfax, SC; his aunts, Tamika Sade "Mattie" Brant of Allendale, SC, LaPorche "Shay" Banks of Allendale, SC, Gail Capers of Allendale, SC and Angelia Broughton (Richard Priester) of Allendale, SC; and his siblings, Zy'Quavion "Zye" Cochran and Zy'Quvionna "Nay-Nae" Booker of Allendale, SC. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dash's Funeral Home - Bamberg (12409 Heritage Hwy, Bamberg, SC 29003). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. John Baptist Church (204 Weimer St, Bamberg, SC 29003). A burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at the Bamberg Memory Gardens (14836 Heritage Hwy, Bamberg, SC 29003).
