He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Still Grubbs and Clyde Grubbs; his wife Christine Stanley Grubbs; his sons, Tony Grubbs and John Grubbs; and his sister Margie Tuten.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Grubbs Pullins (William) of Warrenville, SC, Susan Ann Barlet of Barnwell, SC and Sarah L. Grubbs of Barnwell, SC. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; as well as seventeen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Barnwell First Baptist Church, 161 Allen St. Barnwell, SC 29812.
