Birt (Janice) of Williston and Dawn Birt Ochal (Tim) of Las Vegas, Nevada; his grandchildren, Nicole Marie Birt, Brittany Elizabeth Birt, Jacob Wiley Birt, Dustin Michael Smith, Margaret Grace Kelly (Tyler), Carley Faye Williams (Jordan Zimmerman), Cody Lanier Birt (Kayla) and Sydney Belle Ochal; his sister Elaine Cope of Denmark; and his close friend Jolene.
