It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Layton Richardson (Barnwell, South Carolina), born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on December 25, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Caroline Fowke Richardson and Layton Richardson; his parents-in-law, Gerald and Helen Paulk; and his niece Stacey Paulk Burns.

He is survived by : his wife Brenda Paulk Richardson; his daughter Lindsey Richardson (Nicole) of Rock Hill, SC; his siblings, Suzanne Bristol of Tallahassee, FL and Jack Richardson of Barnwell, SC; and his siblings-in-law, Wendell, Gail Paulk of Irmo, SC, Phil, Pam Paulk of McDonough, GA, Tim and Robin Wedemyer of Niceville, FL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
