LaVerne Dobson Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on March 12, 2026, at the age of 94, LaVerne Dobson of Barnwell, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint LaVerne leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hamp Willis and Abbie Burrell Willis; and her husband Guy Dobson. She is survived by: her children, Randy Dobson (Sherry), Paul Dobson (Verna) and Abby Sherrer (Jim); her grandson Nick Dobson (Caroline Moore); and her great grandchild Colby Riggs Dobson.
