She was predeceased by: her husband Tim Edwards; her parents, James Russell Padgett and Jeanne Griffin Padgett; and her siblings, James Victor Padgett and Linda Neke Collins.

She is survived by: her brother Jerry P. Padgett. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
