He is survived by: his children, Halee Lunsford (Parker) of Barnwell and Mitchel E. Lunsford Jr. (Sylvia) of Aiken; his brother William B. Waits (Christy) of Aiken; his stepparents, Florene Lunsford of Edgefield and Bill Waits; his grandchildren, Malachi Lunsford, Michaela Lunsford, Micah Lunsford, Cameron Davis and Harlee Davis; and his close friends, Jessica Thomas and Ricky Lancaster. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many loyal friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Folk Funeral Home Chapel (170 Elko St, Williston, SC 29853). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
