He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Creech Ray Sr. and Dorothy Sanders Ray; and his brother Jimmy Ray. He is survived by: his wife Mary Bonnie Creech Ray; his children, Alan Ray (Maxine) of Edisto Beach, SC and Angela Ray Black (Marc) of Barnwell, SC; his grandchildren, Dillan Black, Lauren Marsh (Carrington), Shelby Player (Josh) and Emily McCrea (Tilton); his great grandchildren, Brooklyn Marsh and Oliver Henderson; and his sisters, Fay Jean Sanders and Nancy Foster.
