She was predeceased by: her parents, Sydney Bowers and Lillian Bowers; her husband Joseph Franklin Walker, Sr. of Estill, SC; and her sisters, Jeanette Murdaugh, Carolyn Bowers, Barbara Murphy, Libby Owens (Rudolph Bowers) and Willie Bowers (Carl Bowers).
She is survived by: her children, Jody (Angie) of Knoxville, TN and Jennifer Jones (Edwin) of Barnwell, SC; her grandchildren, Angela Walker (Heath), Amber Polk (Michael), Lanny Jones (Carly), Tara Davis (James) and Trent Walker; her great grandchildren, Aven, Kaia Tomar, Avery, Elloree Jones, Kipper, Kullen, Kamrie Polk and Marshall Davis; and her sister Shirley Way.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (8744 Marlboro Ave, Barnwell, SC 29812). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
