It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tony Towne Sr. of Barnwell, South Carolina, born in Hilda, South Carolina, who passed away on August 9, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William Thomas and Martha Rowell Towne; and his brother William Towne. He is survived by : his wife Cynthia Collins Towne; his children, Kimberly Hurst (Jon) of Barnwell, SC and Tony Towne (Dorcas) of Martinsburg, WV; his grandchildren, Alyssa Rawlins, Sterling Hurst, Hailey Towne, MaHayley Hurst, Landon Covalt, Hunter Covalt, Ella Covalt, Easton Covalt, Denver Covalt, Avery Towne and Tinley Towne; his siblings, Hayne Towne (Linda) of Hilda, SC, Anna Williams (Ricky) of North, SC, Judy McClary (Johnny) of Hilda, SC, Susie Dyches (Billy) of Blackville, SC and Missi Cruz (JJ) of Barnwell, SC; and his close friends, Richard and Brenda Switzer of Roanoke, VA.
