It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dottie Speath of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina, born in Leesville, South Carolina, who passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by : her husband Richard T. Speath of Hanover, Maryland; her siblings, David E. Harris of Batesburg-Leesville, Joseph C. Harris of Batesburg-Leesville and Rev. Dorothy H. Caldwell (Bennie) of Columbia; and her goddaughter Sarah Maria Campbell (Colin) of Queens. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, other relatives and many friends.
