He was predeceased by: his parents, Omie Lavoye "O. L." and Verlene Taylor Holley; his wife Darlene Holley; and his brothers, Wayne A. Holley and James V. Holley.

He is survived by: his daughters, Rita Orear (Clay), Tonia Branham (David) and Sara Holley (Jason); his grandchildren, Christian Griffin (Kelly), Lauren Taylor (Mark), Kevin Branham, Tiffany Branham (Chris), Katelin Dotson (Zack) and Chandler Cooper; and his brother Eddie Holley (Sara). He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
