With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond E. Wise of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina, born in Edgefield, South Carolina, who passed away on March 25, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Eugene Wise and Eola Ligon Wise; and his brother Ulysses Wise. He is survived by : his son Nicholas Hughes; his siblings, Mary Hill of Batesburg-Leesville, Leola Riley of Batesburg-Leesville, Earnestine Dozier of Batesburg-Leesville, Millestine Watkins of Aiken, Gloria Morin of Forest Park, Georgia, Margaret Wise of Forest Park, Georgia and Robert Wise of Ridge Spring; and his brother-in-law David Dozier of Batesburg-Leesville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many sorrowing friends.
