He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Powell New; his children, Thomas Marshall New, Jr. (Maggie), Sharon Elizabeth New Black (Tom) and Jonathan Edward Campbell (Melissa); and his niece Brenda Hall. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
