He was predeceased by: his parents, Roosevelt Dobbs and Ruby Kinard Dobbs; and his siblings, Duffie Lee Kinard, Jimmy Dobbs, Johnnie James Dobbs (Gene), Lillie Mae Mathis, Eva Lister, Ruby Edna Dobbs and Esther Ruth Dobbs.
He is survived by: his wife Earlean Williams Dobbs; his children, Antonio Dobbs (Jackie) of Aiken, SC and Teresa Dobbs-Robinson (Michael) of Bloomfield, NJ; his sisters, Leora Dobbs McCarty of Columbia, SC and Christine Dobbs Graham of Saluda, SC; and his stepdaughters, Telshela Williams-Cannon (Barry) of Aiken, SC, Tracy Williams of Batesburg, SC and Sheba Williams of Batesburg, SC. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; three brothers-in-law, six sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
