He is survived by : his wife Jennifer Rawl Fulmer; his children, Misty Carrol, Brian Fulmer (Fayth), Jeremy Fulmer, Brook Price, Dana Tyler, John David Fulmer (Lori) and Erica Bessinger (Trevor); his grandchildren, Caleb Beau, Luke, Cheyenne, Joshua, Justin, Beth Corder, Taylor, Johnny, Jennifer, Camryn, John David Jr., Cayleigh, Bailey, Aubrey, Emily, Brent and Thomas; his great grandchildren, Charlie, Jr. and Emoree; and his sisters, Elizabeth Sparks, Marie Deer (Howard) and Ruth Fulmer.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Samaria Baptist Church (6560 Fairview Rd, Batesburg-Leesville, SC 29006). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
