With sadness, we share the passing of Tara LaTrece Johnson of Batesburg, South Carolina. Tara, born on October 13, 1977, passed away on September 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her parents, Joe L. Robinson and Alicia Johnson Burgess; her sons, Jaron Johnson and Jaquarius Johnson; her siblings, Joesph Rowe, Tarus Cook, Janeen Johnson, Shera Abney, Taisha Watson, Phadrea Butler, Shannon Robinson and Joy Etheridge; and her godmother Doris Jackson. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; and a host of nieces nephews, and cousins.
Viewing was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Barr-Price Funeral Home Batesburg-Leesville Chapel (256 Main St, Leesville, SC 29070). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at the Nelson Quattlebaum Cemetery (548 Quattlebaum Rd, Leesville, SC 29070).
