He was predeceased by: his father Gordon P. Sheldon; and his stepson Joshua Prine. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy A. Sheldon of Batesburg; his daughter Lori Corbin; his siblings, Loni Franz (Donald), Timothy Sheldon (Susan), Todd and Troy Sheldon; his former wife Edie Sheldon; and his stepdaughter Nicole Simmons (Brannon). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church Cemetery (1315 St Marks Rd, Batesburg-Leesville, SC 29070).
