He is survived by: his wife MaryAnne Hermanson; his children, Karla DiDonato (Jeff DiDonato) and Eric Hermanson (Karen Hermanson); and his grandchildren, Ryan DiDonato, Cameron DiDonato, Andrew Hermanson, Alex Hermanson and Paige Hermanson.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Knights of Columbus in Portland, Connecticut, in Charlie's memory.
