She was predeceased by: her parents, D. D. Evans and Claire Evans (Finklea); her uncle C. B.; and her aunt Eulalia Humphries. She is survived by: her siblings, Dr. Samuel D. Evans (Sally) and Ann Tatham (late Jack); her children, C. B. Johnson (Jennifer) and Claire Bennett (Casey); and her grandchildren, Charlie, Caleb, Millie, Oran, Ava and Becca.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Helena's Anglican Church (504 Church St, Beaufort, SC 29902).
