He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hanscom and Elise McCary Hanscom. He is survived by: his wife Marguerite Kaminski-Hanscom (Peggy) of Beaufort, SC; his son Dr. David Hanscom (Alyssa Hanscom); his grandson Ramsey Hanscom; and his brother Fred Hanscom. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
