It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Campanella in Beaufort, South Carolina, who passed away on December 17, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Donna may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Altmann and Grace Altmann (Nowicki). She is survived by: her husband Michael L. Campanella of Beaufort, SC; her sons, Christopher Campanella (Alissa Pagnotti) of Virginia and Andrew Campanella (Lesley Yu) of Massachusetts; her siblings, Don Altmann (Christine) and Dawn Altman; and her siblings-in-law, Christine Ackerman (Terrance) of Tennessee, Charles Campanella and Steven Lipker of Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Beaufort Memorial Hospital Rehabilitation Unit, they were extremely caring and compassionate during Donna's hospitalization.
