We announce the death of Floyd Elwyn Woods of Beaufort, South Carolina, who passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 95. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Humphries; his son-in-law Mac Bennett; and his sisters-in-law, Pat Barnes and Paula Vickers. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Mackey Funerals at Woodlawn Memorial Park (1 Pine Knoll Dr, Greenville, SC 29609). The military honors will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
