She is survived by: her daughters, Clara Wallace Thomas and Elizabeth Woodley Thomas Gillentine; her grandsons, Wilson Calhoun Smith, Thomas Clay Smith, Ben Clayton Gillentine and Colt Lee Gillentine; her sister Theresa Maria Pulliam; her son-in-law Clayton Kyle Gillentine; her nieces, Dawn Michelle Shoemaker and Kristen Theresa Coxwell Stiner; and her nephew Michael Shawn Coxwell.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (710 Carteret St, Beaufort, SC 29902). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Historic St. Peter's Catholic Church (710 Carteret St, Beaufort, SC 29902).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Catholic Church, the Child Abuse Prevention Association of Beaufort, or the American Association of University Women.
